The Beer’s On Me
If common elements exist among successful startup stories, I suppose it’s that the winners pay close attention to their business every day. They know their markets intimately and know when their company’s value goes up and down almost instinctively. They know how to amplify value-building actions and kill the things that tread water or worse, drag things down.
This blog is my way to kick-start this process around my own ventures. Anyone who knows me will confirm that I’ve always got lots to say. But I also thrive on collaborative thought.
What better way to collaborate than to commit to posterity the daily thoughts that I think can amplify value? No backpedaling later, or selective recall about the details of my statements.
Along the way, visitors can tell me if I seem to be right or wrong. And whenever someone tells me I’m wrong in advance, the beer is on me. (Two beers if you help me get a good idea to market!)
